A lot of progress has already been made this year in preparing for MerpCon IV.

MerpCon III's 4th guest speaker was Cason Snow, a librarian from Northern Illinois University (see his bio on this site). You can now download and view his speech and followup Q&A in Real .rm file format.
Michael Martinez spoke at MerpCon III. The Video is now available for download.
Guest Speaker Dr. Thomas Morwinsky, who flew in all the way from Germany to speak at MerpCon III.

Well, it was a lot of hard work getting ready, and a lot of fun doing, but MerpCon III is now ended.

We have reached the maximum capacity for all of the role playing gaming session tables. The RSVP Form has been modified to account for this.
MerpCon III (Middle-earth Role Playing Convention 2007) is coming this Summer!
In conjunction with, and by request of the Tolkien Community Children of Hurin Release party run by www.tolkiengateway.net, there will be a live reading of the new J.R.R. Tolkien Children of Huring book.
The list of who's who from the Middle-earth role playing community just became longer. This is going to be spectacular with Dr. Thomas Morwinsky, Professor Chris Seeman, author Michael Martinez, and Joe Mandala from The Guild Companion are all attending this year!
