Slight Schedule changes
Just a few slight schedule changes have come up, mostly related to the guest speaker sessions, so those of you planning only to attend those sessions, please make a note of these adjustments, this applies to both onsite, and online audience members.
Please always check the latest up to date schedule online here:
http://www.merpcon.com/about/schedule
Remember, all times are local to the Spokane, WA, USA timezone (Pacific Time, UTC -7), so please keep that in mind if you are a remote participant in a different timezone.
The Friday speech has been moved from 6:00 - 7:00 pm to 5:30-6:00 pm. With game time starting from 6:00 to 11:00 pm (instead of 7:00 to 11:00 pm). The speaker will be Hawke providing an update on the future of MerpCon, and significant changes coming up for next year, and soliciting feedback from participants.
THIS YEAR WILL BE THE LAST YEAR OF MERPCON.
The Saturday evening Guest Speaker session has been moved from 4:00-5:00 pm to 5:00-6:00 pm. This means the social and eating time will be two contiguous hours from 3:00-5:00 pm, rather than broken up in between with the guest speaking segment.
The Sunday morning speaker slot has been changed to become an Audience Panel interactive event. The time is still from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Some members of the audience/participants will be asked to join the panel for discussion on various topics, this will include members from the Youth Group.
The Sunday evening slot has been assigned for the two hosts of Middle-earth Radio ( www.middle-earthradio.com ) to broadcast a live show at the end of MerpCon, this includes audience participation, and interviews, live, online, with audio, video, and interactive chat with remote and local MerpCon participants. Be sure to tune in at 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm for that show to wrap up MerpCon V TolkienMoot 2009.
